The Regional Medical Center (RMC) Auxiliary awarded Pat Swanson the Bright Star award for exceptional volunteer service. The award was presented to Pat at the annual Auxiliary Luncheon on May 9, 2017. Auxiliary President Lou Ann Knaak recognized Pat, saying, “We thank [Pat] for being a Bright Star for the Auxiliary by gifting time and talent for the benefit of Regional Medical Center patients, families, services, and facilities. We thank Pat for her continued dedication to the Auxiliary through Project Linus…truly a work of hearts and hands.” Pat has been an active volunteer for over a decade, giving her time at the HILLTOP Gift Shop, serving as an officer and Auxiliary President, and using her expertise as a seamstress by heading up the Project Linus Blanket Workshop at RMC. Pat was awarded a certificate and the Bright Star Willow Tree.

New members and volunteers are needed to help grow the RMC Auxiliary. We invite you to join us in our mission to promote wellness in the community, serve as a liaison between the hospital and the community, and conduct fundraising projects to assist the hospital in meeting its objectives. Anyone interested in joining the RMC Auxiliary or becoming a volunteer should contact one of the Auxiliary Executive Committee members or call Jody Hatfield, MPA, Professional Development and Auxiliary Manager, at 563-927-7581.
