The Regional Medical Center (RMC) Auxiliary is pleased to announce three area students as recipients of $500 scholarships each.
Emily Duff, 2017 Starmont High School graduate, will attend Wartburg this fall to begin her studies to become a music therapist.
Anna Garlow is currently employed at RMC as a home care and hospice aide. She is studying at Kaplan University for her Associate Degree in Nursing.
Caitlin Schuman, 2017 Maquoketa Valley High School Graduate, will attend Hawkeye Community College this fall, enrolling in the Dental Hygiene Program.
In awarding the scholarships to these students, the Auxiliary would like to acknowledge Emily, Anna, and Caitlin for their accomplishments and wish them well as they continue their studies in preparation for healthcare careers.
The Auxiliary awards annual scholarships to area residents pursuing an education at an Iowa college in a health-related field. Selection is based on academic record, financial need, and participation in extracurricular and community activities.
