Dr. Christiansen Celebrates 25 Years at RMC

Regional Medical Center (RMC) and Regional Family Health (RFH) would like to extend their congratulations to Scot Christiansen, MD, on celebrating 25 years of service. Dr. Christiansen has been vital in his contributions to the family practice and obstetrics departments at RMC. “We appreciate Dr. Christiansen’s dedication to his patients. He provides excellent care and goes above and beyond to be available when needed,” said Michelle Paris, MPA, Ambulatory Care and Provider Services Director.

About Dr. Christiansen:

Dr. Christiansen is a well-respected physician and community member in the Edgewood, Manchester, and surrounding communities. He is the Medical Director of the Grandview Nursing Home in Oelwein. In his spare time, Dr. Christiansen enjoys spending time in the woods near his home which also ties in his love of woodworking.  Some of his woodwork has been used around RMC’s facility. He also enjoys photography and has several of his photos displayed on the walls of RMC as part of the Featured Art program.

Dr. Christiansen attained his medical degree from the University of Iowa in 1989. His internship was completed at Wausau Family Practice Residency Program in Wausau, WI. Dr. Christiansen is Board Certified in Family Medicine. His scope of practice includes family medicine and obstetrics.
