Regional Medical Center (RMC) wants you to come out and enjoy their Rubber Duck Dash & Dive on Saturday, September 16th. The day kicks off with a 5K Run/Walk, followed by the Riverbank Bash, and ends with thousands of rubber duckies being dropped off Manchester’s Marion Street Bridge into the Maquoketa River at 12:30 p.m. for their Rubber Duck Race!
To register for the 5K Run/Walk, visit www.GetMeRegistered.com/rubberduckdashdive, pick up a form in person at RMC, or during race day registration at 7 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female in divisions 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+, and best costume.
After the 5K Run/Walk, join RMC at their Riverbank Bash at 11 a.m. at Manchester’s Whitewater park. Enjoy a kayak soccer game (at 11:30 a.m.), food tent, and many free family-friendly activities such as bubbles, Chuck-A-Duck, Greenie’s Balloons, photo booth, and more!
At 12:30 p.m., watch thousands of rubber ducks dive off the Marion Street Bridge and race to the finish line. Rubber Duck Race chances are still available for sale for $5/1 or $20/5 online at bit.ly/2qKQtRT or at RMC’s Hilltop Gift Shop, and on race day beginning at 11 a.m. at Manchester’s Whitewater Park. Sales will close at 12 p.m. Ducktastic prizes go to the ticket holders of the first three rubber ducks that cross the finish line. Prizes are $1000 for first place, $500 or Kayak & Grizzly Cooler for second place, and $250 or Grizzly Cooler for third place.
The success of the Rubber Duck Dash & Dive depends on our volunteers, our great sponsors, and you – who devote your time and support our event, purchase duck race tickets, and spread the word.
All proceeds will go towards the purchase of a portable SonoSite Ultrasound to help provide a more comfortable experience for patients needing pain control at RMC.
