Emergency services are available 24 hours/day, seven days/week. For emergencies after business hours (evenings and weekends) call the Regional Medical Center Emergency Room at (563) 927-3232 or toll-free 877-847-0936 and ask to speak to a counselor.
Mediation Services
Mediation Services provide participants in a dispute an efficient, cost effective opportunity to resolve the issue as an alternative to going to trial. Disputes and civil law suits such as personal injury, medical malpractice or breach of contract, divorce settlement, custody disputes, renter/landlord, and small claims can be resolved through mediation.
Legal counsel does need not be present, although participants are encouraged to review the mediation decision with their legal counsel. Unlike a judge or arbitrator, the mediator has no authority to render a decision or force the parties to accept a settlement. In the great majority of cases, mediation will result in a final settlement of the matter.
To access Mediation Services, please call BACC at (563) 927-7330 or toll-free 877-847-0936.
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an early intervention technique used for children with behavior problems. This intervention has documented effectiveness for helping parents manage hyperactivity, aggression, and defiance in young children (2 to 7 years). PCIT is a short-term parent training approach to improve the parent-child relationship through improved parenting skills. PCIT offers help and hope for children with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Conduct Disorder, as well as families dealing with physical abuse issues.
If you are interested in learning more about this technique, please call 877-847-0936.
Partners in Success
Partners in Success is designed to give a few students in the area the opportunity to meet their educational and therapeutic needs. The program offers children and adolescents, kindergarten through 8th grade, opportunities to grow as students and individuals in a structured, affirming, non-competitive classroom. The goal is to transition the student back to his or her home school.
