West Delaware Volleyball Donates Back

West Delaware Volleyball Donates Back

November 2, 2022 in News, Radiology

On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, the West Delaware Volleyball team visited Regional Medical Center (RMC) to present a check to the Radiology department. Through breast cancer awareness fundraising efforts during their volleyball season, the team was able to donate just under $1000.

This money will be going towards the RMC Radiology Pink Support Bag fund. This fund is used to purchase comfort items, gift cards and other goodies that might come in handy while local breast cancer patients fight their biggest fight. Every time there is a new breast cancer diagnosis, our Radiology team is able to support patients with donated dollars.

“Every single year we are blown away by the efforts these young ladies make to donate to something bigger than themselves. We are so grateful to everyone who supported their fundraising efforts and allowed them the opportunity to give back,” shared Megan Demmer, RMC Radiology Manager.

On behalf of Regional Medical Center and the patients we serve, thank you. Your dedication and passion towards this initiative never goes unnoticed.
