RMC Expanding Partnership with LifeServe Blood Center

RMC Expanding Partnership with LifeServe Blood Center

June 18, 2024 in Laboratory, News, Regional Medical Center

Regional Medical Center (RMC) in Manchester continues to focus on ensuring high quality and efficient operations across all areas of the health system. Effective on July 1, 2024, RMC will transition to LifeServe Blood Center as our primary supplier for blood products and services.

“LifeServe isn’t a new blood supplier for RMC,” shared Ann Wilson-Grant, RMC Lab Manager. “We have worked with them for several years and have been very pleased with their responsiveness to our blood supply needs. Our entire team looks forward to working with them full time to make sure our patients have the blood products they need while gaining work efficiencies that will allow us more time to provide direct patient care, which we all love.”

With this transition, all of the blood drives held at Regional Medical Center will now be hosted through LifeServe. LifeServe is a community-based blood center and all blood that is donated through them remains in the community. What this means is that when you donate blood at a LifeServe blood drive, your blood stays within our local region versus traveling nationwide, helping to save lives in our local neighborhoods and communities.

The success and strength of a community blood supply is dependent on local donors and support. Please join us in our excitement with this transition and schedule your next blood donation appointment at our drive at RMC in Manchester. It will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 12-5PM in RMC Veterans Education Center (Level 3). To schedule your life-saving donation, visit lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 1-800-287-4903. Your donation with LifeServe will help save your neighbor, a friend or family member or a stranger on the street. YOU make a difference in YOUR community.
