Hospice of Comfort, a service of Regional Medical Center in Manchester, has offered comfort, love, and respect to those on their end-of-life journey for over 22 years. Hospice volunteers are a crucial piece of the compassionate and supportive services provided. As an active volunteer since 2007, Carol Tutton of Delaware is recognized as the 2016 Hospice of Comfort Volunteer of the Year.

Influenza season is here with the flu circulating, just in time for the holidays! The flu is a respiratory illness caused by viruses. It comes on quickly. It spreads easily from person to person and can cause mild to severe illness.

Regional Medical Center (RMC) would like to thank the RMC Auxiliary for their generous donation of $5000 towards our 2016 Annual Appeal to purchase a new ambulance. Proceeds from the HILLTOP Gift Shop made up a large part of this gift. Patients, visitors, and employees support the gift shop and other RMC Auxiliary fundraisers, which in turn supports the efforts of the hospital.

Regional Medical Center (RMC) would like to publicly thank the Starmont Volleyball Team for their generous donation. The team held fundraisers which will help fund a womens night event to be hosted by the RMC Radiology Department in the spring of 2017. More information on this event will be forthcoming.

In 2017, Wellmark BC/BS of Iowa is rolling out two new insurance plans that will be available to small groups and individuals, both on and off the public health insurance exchange. Please be advised that these are narrow network insurance products sold in select areas of Iowa, and RMC is not in-network with these products.
