Effective on Monday, April 5th, anyone age 18+ is eligible to receive the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine and anyone age 16+ is eligible to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. With this transition and the anticipated increase in vaccine availability throughout the state of Iowa, Regional Medical Center, Regional Family Health, and Delaware County Public Health is discontinuing our vaccine waiting list effective today, April 1st.

Regional Medical Center's Governing Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Danette Kramer, MBA, CHFP, as the new Chief Executive Officer. Kramer has 25 years of hospital leadership experience. She has served as the Chief Financial Officer at RMC since 2000.

This past year, RFH clinics have been able to provide a free book to children age 1-6 during their annual well-child visits at our clinics. This is thanks to a $1,000 grant received from the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County.

Late yesterday, the Iowa Department of Public Health announced effective on Monday, March 8th, vaccine providers can begin vaccinating additional priority populations. Those 64 and younger with certain medical conditions are now eligible in Phase 1C. Currently, Regional Medical Center, Delaware County Public Health, and Regional Family Health do not have enough vaccine to proceed with this expansion into Phase 1C. Our allotment being received is only 200 doses of Moderna COVID-vaccine each week.
