The Regional Medical Center (RMC) Auxiliary is pleased to announce the Tree of Lights scholarship recipients for 2019.
Stephanie Gonzalez, of Manchester, is currently a NICC student pursuing her dream career of becoming a nurse. She plans to graduate from NICC as a Registered Nurse in 2022. Following that, her goal is to become an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
Kristin Lucas, 2019 Maquoketa Valley High School graduate, plans to attend the University of Iowa in the fall to obtain her degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She plans to continue her education at the University of Iowa to receive her masters to be a Child Life Specialist.
|Grace Reiss, 2019 West Delaware High School graduate, will attend Iowa State University this fall. She plans to get her master’s degree in Dietetics with a goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian. || |
The RMC Auxiliary would like to congratulate these students and wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Each student received a $750 scholarship towards their education. The RMC Auxiliary awards scholarships annually to area residents pursuing an education at an Iowa college in a health-related field. Selection is based on academic record, financial need, and participation in extracurricular and community activities.
