Giving back feels good! We were recently reminded of this by a group of young girls from our community. Kaci Reth celebrated her 8th birthday on January 24th. Instead of receiving presents for her birthday party, Kaci asked her friends to bring a stuffed animal to give to kids receiving care at Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Department. Then, the girls made up personalized cards and attached them to each of the stuffed animals.
“Seeing the girls do something like this for kids receiving care in our ER is so heart-warming,” shared Mary Rausch, Emergency Services Manager. “Sometimes, it’s the smallest things that can make a huge difference to the kids and families we care for. Hat’s off to these girls and their families for helping to make a difference. You are an awesome example of ‘giving back’ and caring selflessly for others.”
On behalf of all of us at Regional Medical Center, Happy Birthday, Kaci, and thank you to you and all of your friends for helping to bring smiles to the kids we care for at RMC.
