Theisen’s More for Your Community Grant Recipient
Regional Family Health (RFH) recently received a $1,000 grant from Theisen’s 2019 More for Your Community grant program.
With the receipt of this grant, RFH will provide a free book to all children age 1-6 during their annual well-child visit at RFH in Dyersville. Reading to children at a young age fosters cognitive development, improves language skills and academic performance as well as helps with emotional attachment. These are all areas of development and overall wellness that RFH aims to achieve in caring for our communities.
“Being one of the 242 nonprofits to receive funding through this generous program is a real honor,” shared Michelle Paris, Regional Family Health Clinic Director. “We feel children and families will really appreciate and benefit from the receipt of a free book. On behalf of all of us at Regional Family Health, thank you to the Theisen family for giving back to our communities! It is much appreciated.”
