Bev Preussner has been a valued member of the Regional Medical Center (RMC) Governing Board of Trustees since 2008. In 2012, Bev dedicated time to achieve the Iowa Hospital Association’s Trustee Education Certification for Iowa hospital governance. Every two years thereafter, she has gone through this voluntary program for recertification. Recertification consists of 12 hours of continuing education over a 2-year period. This program increases a trustee’s personal knowledge of not only traditional governance skills and qualities, but also a special understanding of the complex healthcare industry.

“Bev’s commitment to continuous learning and renewal of the IHA Hospital Board Certification Program is a testament of her dedication to our communities,” shared Charlie Button, Chief Executive Officer. “We thank Bev for her many years of service to RMC and our community, not only for the past 12 years as a Trustee  but also for her dedicated career at RMC as a nurse in years past.”
