COVID-19 is Surging in Our Community

Posted 11/10/2020 in Regional Medical Center

“Today, I am here to tell you that COVID-19 is surging in our community--here at home, along with throughout the state. All healthcare facilities in our region including Regional Medical Center are running at near capacity or are at full capacity,” states Charlie Button, RMC Chief Executive Officer.

Please do everything you possibly can to reduce the spread.

Keep 6 feet from others.

Wear a face mask.

Stay home when you are even mildly sick.

“We know there are many feelings on COVID-19 based upon how it’s unfortunately been politicized. However, it is a fact that it is here. It is affecting our community. It is affecting our hospital. Our providers and staff continue to work extremely hard but are wearing down,” Button stated.

Regional Medical Center will continue to monitor this surge and may need to adjust some of our elective services as necessary.  Your patience is greatly appreciated during this pandemic.
