COVID-19 Vaccine Update

Brought to you by Regional Medical Center, Regional Family Health, and Delaware County Public Health

As we progress through the vaccine administration process, we will periodically provide updates to the community.

Delaware County Public Health, Regional Medical Center, and Regional Family Health continue to receive only 200 doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine each week. At this time, the state has not indicated when we will receive an increase in allocation.

Each week we are using 100 percent of our allocated vaccine. We schedule appointments for those age 65+ as well as the Tier populations as required by the state regulations. Those aged 65+ are randomly selected from our COVID-19 vaccine waiting list as well as from our Regional Family Health patient population. Please know that everyone involved in the administration process has worked diligently to try to provide the most fair distribution process while receiving limited supply and following state regulations.

With this limited supply, we understand the frustration felt by those in our communities who are excited and ready to receive the vaccine. We encourage you to look for other options to receive the vaccine as the ultimate goal is for each of you to get the vaccine as soon as possible. Though not local, additional options may include Hy-Vee, Walgreens, or CVS.
