|Our caring volunteers give supportive relationships to hospice patients and their family members. They offer a listening ear, a caring heart, and a helping hand. |
Volunteers receive special training and contribute their individual skills for the benefit of hospice clients and their families by providing:
- Respite for caregivers
- Running errands
- Reading to patients
- Explaining what is going on to children
- Performing light housekeeping and child care
- Preparing meals
- Providing support to families during the time of bereavement
- Just being there as a peaceful and supporting presence
We are grateful for the ongoing support from our caring volunteers.
