Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Our Respiratory Therapists help patients with chronic lung conditions find ways to live better with their disease.

RMC's Pulmonary Rehab Program is individually tailored, progressive, and aimed to help you improve your quality of life by achieving your personal goals to improve your condition. It can help you increase your strength and endurance, control stress, conserve energy, and learn effective breathing techniques to help get more oxygen into your lungs, preventing shortness of breath while performing activities of daily living.

Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation is held two - three times a week, with various options to fit your schedule. Each class consists of 12-24 sessions of supervised exercise and education developed according to your needs and personal goals. You must have the desire to work hard, become more active, stop smoking, and lead a healthy lifestyle.

A Pulmonary Rehabilitation Assessment must be performed prior to admittance into the program. Contact us at 563-927-7354 to see if you qualify.
