Starmont and Edgewood-Colesburg alumni basketball players laced up to play an alumni rivalry game to raise money for Regional Medical Center (RMC) Radiology Department. Carson Willie, a Starmont alumni, presented a check of $2,947.38 to the RMC Radiology Department to go towards local women who are battling breast cancer.

Through t-shirt sales and admission to this alumni basketball event, community members supported the cause. “It’s inspiring to see young adults like Carson putting in the time and energy to recognize and support such an important cause. On behalf of everyone at RMC and our Radiology Department, THANK YOU,” expressed Megan Demmer, RMC Radiology Manager.

These funds will go towards RMC ‘pink support bags’ that are given to local women battling breast cancer.
