CPR Skills Training Available to Community
April 20, 2023 in News, Regional Medical Center
Regional Medical Center (RMC) is providing a free CPR skills training on Thursday, May 25 from 5-7PM in the RMC Veterans Education Center (Level 3). Anyone ages 12 and older are welcome (minors must be accompanied by an adult). This training is not a certification course. However, attendees can expect to be educated on how to perform CPR and the importance of it. Our trained instructors will help coach those who attend on the appropriate position, depth, recoil and more in terms of CPR. Simulation manikins will be available to practice hands-on compressions.
Having the knowledge and skills to do CPR gives an individual the confidence to stay calm in a medical emergency and help a person in need. No matter where you are, jumping into action can help save a life. Ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they have the skills, confidence and bravery to help someone in need.
No registration is required for this education opportunity. If you have any questions, please reach out to Samantha Cocking at 563-927-7344 or samantha.cocking@regmedctr.org.
