June 29, 2023 in News, Wellness Center
Eight members of the Regional Medical Center (RMC) Bob Holtz Wellness Center (BHWC) have lost a combined total of 289 pounds!
Each person in our community has unique medical, social, emotional and lifestyle needs. The wellness center at RMC in Manchester is focused on helping members strive for better overall health. “It’s been a joy to work with members here at the Wellness Center,” shared Morgan Neuhaus, RMC Personal Trainer. "By simply focusing on movement, consistency and healthy daily habits these individuals were able to see positive physical and mental results.”
The one thing our members have in common is making their wellness journey a priority! Some things that made their journey a success was the enjoyment of connectedness in the gym atmosphere, having specific exercise programs, choosing daily nutritious foods, getting enough sleep and simply being mindful. Each priority is important and has an impact on physical and mental health. By making simple and healthy choices on a daily basis, you will be well on your way towards reducing stress, having positive social interactions and achieving optimal wellness.
“I like working out in the wellness center because it’s fun, the positive vibes and the encouragement to work and push yourself harder,” shared Katie Bonert, BHWC Member. “I look forward to going to the gym to workout every week because it’s my ‘me’ time that I don’t get at home.”
The RMC BHWC staff encourage our community members to look for ways to move often, eat healthy and reduce stress. Simple steps can help you make sustainable lifestyle changes for your overall health and wellness.
