Regional Medical Center Parents as Teachers Program Launches Online Referral System

June 29, 2026 in News, Parent Education & Support

Regional Medical Center (RMC) is excited to announce that its Parents as Teachers (PAT) program is now accepting online referrals. This new, digital platform makes it easier than ever for parents, caregivers, and healthcare providers to connect families with free, high-quality early childhood resources and support.

PAT is a free, voluntary program that serves Delaware County families from pregnancy until their child starts kindergarten. RMC’s certified parent educators provide support through evidence-based home visits, offering coaching, health screenings, monthly group events and access to a variety of community resources.

"Our mission has always been to give children the best possible start in life by supporting their first and most influential teachers, their parents," said Kristin Drabek, RMC PAT Director. "By launching an online referral process, we are removing barriers for busy families. Whether you are an expecting mom looking for guidance or a provider recommending support for a local family, a referral can now be completed in just a few clicks."

Families can self-refer to the program, or a healthcare provider can submit a referral on a family’s behalf.
