You will be asked about your Advanced Directives.

What to Bring

  • Insurance cards
  • Photo ID
  • List of medications
  • List of known allergies
  • Information about recent medical procedures or test results

Treatment

  • When you arrive, staff will talk to you about your health concerns and medical history and perform a brief exam. This is called triage, the start of your medical treatment in RMC’s Emergency Department. This makes sure the most critical conditions are treated immediately.
  • Our ER provider will conduct a more in-depth evaluation which may include ordering tests or procedures. Results take time. Know our staff will do their best keeping you informed on the process and answer any questions you may have.
  • Before you go home, you will receive complete written instructions for you after care. It is very important that you understand this information and follow the instructions. Follow-up with your primary care provider after your visit in our ER.
