When Should you use Emergency Services?

Don’t hesitate to come to the Emergency Department if you or a loved one is experiencing life-threatening illness or conditions.

Concerning Symptoms may include (but are not limited to)

  • Chest pain
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Sudden blurred vision
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Sudden weakness or loss of coordination/balance
  • Sudden numbness in face, arms, legs
  • Sudden severe headache
  • Severe nausea or vomiting
  • Change or loss of consciousness
  • Severe cuts/wounds
  • Suspected fracture
  • Head or spinal injury
  • Sudden, severe pain
  • Suicidal or homicidal thoughts
