What is Pediatric Occupational Therapy?

Our Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with the child and their caregiver(s) to build confidence and competence in utilizing strategies and approaches that promote their ability to complete daily occupations.

  • Fine Motor Skills (writing, coloring, cutting, toy manipulation)
  • Self-Help Skills (clothing, fasteners, brushing teeth, brushing hair, self-feeding, etc.)
  • Sensory Organization/Regulation (proprioception, vestibular, interception, auditory, tactical, etc.)

Schedule Appointment

A provider referral is required. During an evaluation, the Occupational Therapist uses a combination of standardized assessments, observations and interview to determine if a child needs services.
