RMC Auxiliary Announces 2023 Scholarship Recipients

The Regional Medical Center (RMC) Auxiliary is pleased to announce three area students as recipients of $750 scholarships each.

Mallory Barney, RN, has been accepted at Clarke University for fall of 2023, in the Doctor of Nursing Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner program. Mallory’s goal is to become an emergency room nurse practitioner.

Ava Hauser, current University of Iowa student and 2021 West Delaware High School graduate, will continue at University of Iowa this fall in the Radiologic Technology program with a goal of receiving a bachelor’s degree in radiation sciences and becoming a radiologic technologist.

Addison Kirby, 2023 graduate of Ed-Co High School, will continue at Upper Iowa University in fall of 2023 in the Exercise Science Program, with the goal of transferring to graduate school for a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and becoming a Physical Therapist.

The Auxiliary awards the annual scholarships to area residents pursuing an education at an Iowa college in a human health-related field. Scholarship funds are made available through memorials and donations to the Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Tree of Lights.
