RMC Auxiliary Donates $6,250 in Support of Pediatric Patients

The Regional Medical Center (RMC) Auxiliary was excited to support the RMC Therapy Services team with the purchase of a play structure for pediatric patients for $6,250.

The play structure is designed to help enhance occupational, physical and speech therapies for young patients at RMC in Manchester. The therapists work with children on their motor skills, balance, speech, coordination and sensory integration. This structure offers an environment to allow the children to enjoy and amplify the therapies being provided.

“Our Auxiliary team works very hard to offer fundraisers throughout the year to help support the purchases of equipment like this pediatric therapy play structure,” shared Valerie Lindsay, Volunteer Services and Fund Development Manager. “On behalf of all of us at RMC and the patients we serve, we thank the Auxiliary for their generosity and continued support. They are so valued and appreciated.”

Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10AM-2PM and Tuesday, Thursday from 8AM-4PM. Upcoming fundraisers include the Linen/Bedding Sale on April 8 from 7AM-3PM, Scrub Sale on April 24 from 10AM-2PM and Nothing Bundt Cakes on June 12 from 11AM-2PM.
