Regional Medical Center Celebrates Healthcare Excellence at Historic Combined DAISY & ROSE Awards Ceremony

Regional Medical Center (RMC) marked a historic milestone on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 by hosting its first-ever combined DAISY and ROSE Awards Ceremony. This event brought together outstanding healthcare professionals from across the organization to celebrate excellence in patient care and operational support. 

While RMC has a long-standing tradition of honoring its extraordinary nursing staff with the prestigious, internationally recognized DAISY Award, the recent ceremony marked the official debut of the hospital’s newly established ROSE Award. The ROSE Award (Recognizing Outstanding Service Excellence) was created specifically to honor RMC’s non-nursing employees whose dedicated efforts are vital to the hospital’s daily operations and patient experience. 

“This ceremony was a powerful reflection of the unity, heart and dedication that defines Regional Medical Center,” shared Danette Kramer, RMC CEO. “Excellence in healthcare is a team effort and every single nominee celebrated embodies the very best of RMC.” 

During the ceremony, RMC team members who had been nominated by patients, families and peers over the past several months were recognized. The event concluded by announcing the winners of both awards: 

• DAISY Award Recipient: Denise Lympus, Nurse Practitioner 
• ROSE Award Recipient: Abbie Wooten, Physical Therapist
