Work-Related Injuries

If an employee gets injured at work, our Occupational Health team can help individuals with the injury or illness covered under workers’ compensation insurance. Services include:

• Diagnosis
• Treatment plan
• Work limitations instruction
• If follow-up rehabilitation is required for the employee to fully recover, a referral will be made to Therapy Services for physical and/or occupational therapy. Rehabilitation services will include a Work Ability screening to determine the employee’s ability to return to work safely after a work-related injury, with or without restrictions.
• Clear communication to the employer throughout the treatment plan to help the business make accommodations to help with loss of work time.
