Whether you’re expecting your first child or your next child, we’re excited to help you welcome your baby to your family. During your pregnancy and birthing experience, you will have the option to work with our skilled OB/GYN, certified midwife or family practice/OB providers.

Regional Medical Center OB & Family Health is committed to delivering excellent healthcare to expecting families. We’re here for you before and during labor, delivery and postpartum. You’ll enjoy the comfort and safety of our newly renovated birthing center in Manchester, where your unique birth plan is backed up by a full range of delivery services, from natural birth to induction, epidurals and comprehensive pain management, to C-sections if it’s the right option for you and your baby.

Prenatal and postnatal care are provided through Regional Family Health in all of their clinic locations. OB providers are available in Manchester, Edgewood, Dyersville, Hopkinton, Strawberry Point, and Winthrop. If you do not have an established provider, please call Regional Family Health at 563-927-7777.

We work with your primary care or OB provider to ensure you have everything you need to make your prenatal, birthing, recovery and early parenting experience the best it can be. Before and after your baby is born, you have access to outstanding support and educational services.

Birthing Suites

Your birthing suite is a private room with a private bathroom. Other accommodations include:

  • Whirlpool Bath/Shower
  • Refrigerator
  • Microwave
  • Sleeping accommodations for your support person
  • TV (patients can bring their own Roku, Fire Stick or Gaming System)

Prenatal Testing

At times during your pregnancy, you may need to be evaluated in the OB & Family Health Department using our fetal heart monitors and diagnostic testing equipment. Your doctor will see you in the clinic, then arrange for diagnostic testing based on your health assessment and gestation.

OB Classes and Support
