Surgery

We provide general surgery services, obstetrics and OB-GYN surgical procedures, along with specialty surgeries including ophthalmology, ENT, orthopedic, urology and podiatry.

Our Surgical Services Department consists of four high-tech operating suites including a da Vinci robotic surgery system and an endoscopy surgical suite.

In addition to our skilled general surgeons, our staff includes experienced surgical technicians, certified first assistants and registered nurses to provide comfort and care throughout your surgical experience. We work alongside nurse anesthetists with Iowa Anesthesia, LC who provide regional anesthesia and pain management for an optimal patient experience.

Robotic-Assisted Surgery

If possible, your surgeon may perform minimally invasive, robotic-assisted surgery. Regional Medical Center’s robot is named “Ursula” and is part of our surgical team. Ursula is a high-tech extension of your surgeon. Your surgeon will work through small incisions to insert a camera and a long, thin, highly controllable surgical instrument. Ursula provides:
